Privacy

[BRAND] is a website for finding a home, a commercial space or a piece of land. This page says what we collect when you use it, what we do with it, and how to ask us to remove it. Last updated 16 October 2026.

What this website collects

You can use the whole site without telling us who you are. We do not ask for your name, phone number, email address or home address anywhere on the site.

To make the decks work, your browser keeps a few things on your own device: a random visitor code, which places you have swiped and which way, and your shortlist. That is what lets you come back to a deck and see only the places you have not seen yet. It never leaves your browser except as the anonymous events below. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

We record anonymous usage events: that a deck was opened, that a card was swiped right or left, that a listing page was opened, and that the WhatsApp button was pressed. Each event carries the random visitor code, the type of deck and the listing involved, and nothing about you as a person. We use these to see which places people like and which do not get a second look.

Third-party tools

Three outside tools run on the site. Each one sets its own cookies or identifiers in your browser.

• Google Analytics 4 tells us how people find the site and which pages and guides they read.
• Meta Pixel lets us show the site to people on Facebook and Instagram who may be interested, and measure whether those adverts work.
• Microsoft Clarity shows us where people tap and scroll, as heatmaps and anonymised session replays, so we can fix what is confusing.

These tools receive only a small, fixed set of events: a deck was opened, a swipe right, a swipe left, a listing opened, and the WhatsApp button pressed, with the type of deck. They do not receive your visitor code, which listing you looked at, or any reference we use to track an enquiry. Each tool's own privacy policy says how it handles the data it collects on its side: Google, Meta, Microsoft.

When you message us on WhatsApp

The only way your phone number reaches us is when you choose to send us a WhatsApp message. The message is pre-filled with the places you shortlisted and a short reference so we know which ones you mean. From then on we have your number and whatever you tell us.

We use it to answer your enquiry, arrange viewings and follow up on the places you asked about. We keep a record of the enquiry, with its reference, status and notes, so we can pick up where we left off. We share your details only as far as is needed to arrange a viewing of a place you asked about. We do not sell your details or give them to anyone for their own marketing.

Our Facebook Page

We also publish listings on our Facebook Page. The software that posts them acts only on our own Page: it publishes our listings and reads nothing about you or anyone else. If you message or comment on the Page, Facebook's own terms and privacy policy apply, and we use what you send us the same way as a WhatsApp message.

Removal and questions

To have your number, your messages or your enquiry record removed, or to ask what we hold about you, email hello@re.com.my from the number or address you contacted us with, or send us a WhatsApp message saying so. We act on it within 14 days and reply to confirm.

To stop the anonymous usage events, clear this site's data in your browser or use a tracker-blocking browser setting; the decks keep working for the visit.

We follow the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010. If we change this page in a way that matters, the date at the top changes.
